Announcing another Young Eagles Rally this June 4th.  Free Airplane rides for young people ages 8-17.

Once again, local area pilots and aviation businesses will donate their time and airplanes to give free airplane rides to young people ages 8-17.

Registration will open at 10:00 AM on June 4th, rain date is June 5th.  Registration will be on a first come, first serve basis from 10:00 - 3:00.  A parent or guardian must attend.  Once registered, each young person will receive an airplane ride in the local area.

Following the flight, each young person, will receive a certificate and a Learn To Fly handbook making them an official Young Eagle. Their name will then be entered into the World’s Largest Logbook, which is on permanent display at the EAA Air Adventure Museum in Oshkosh, WI. The Logbook is also accessible on the web at WWW.YoungEagles.org.

Other activities scheduled for the Flight Rally include a ride in the flight simulators at Nashua Flight Simulator, static displays of airplanes including War Birds, Home Built, Aerobatic, antique and modern airplanes, unique cars, and other aviation related items. The Midfield Café will be cooking outdoors and providing a treat to each Young Eagle, and Infinity Aviation is hosting the event.  Each pilot volunteers their time and aircraft so the flights can be provided free of charge for interested young people.

Those attending the flight rally on June 4 are asked come to Infinity Aviation at Boire Field (117 Perimeter Road) off Pine Hill Road in Nashua, starting at 10:00 AM to register for their flight. Flights will begin at 10:00, with registration closing at 3:00. Rain date is Sunday, June 5.
